Main Street Productions Invites Audiences Down the Rabbit Hole with Alice in Wonderland
Curiosity leads to adventure this July as Main Street Productions (MSP) presents its annual summer youth production, Alice in Wonderland, a whimsical theatrical journey filled with unforgettable characters, imaginative storytelling, and the talents of local young performers from across the community
Running July 16–26, 2026, at the Basile Westfield Playhouse, this family-friendly adaptation by Anne Coulter Martens, based on the classic by Lewis Carroll, brings Wonderland to life. Directed by Amber K. Roth and produced by Karen Cones and Bill Miller, the production follows Alice as she chases the White Rabbit into a fantastical world where nothing is quite as it seems. As she journeys deeper into Wonderland, animals speak in riddles, nonsense somehow makes perfect sense, and every twist and turn challenges her imagination and courage. Along the way, she encounters memorable characters including the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts, Caterpillar, and many more in an adventure that celebrates imagination, curiosity, and finding your own path
Designed to entertain audiences of all ages, Alice in Wonderland combines humor, fantasy, and heart into an experience perfect for families, grandparents, longtime theatergoers, and anyone who enjoys a timeless story brought to life on stage.

Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. All performances take place at the Basile Westfield Playhouse, 220 N. Union St., Westfield. Tickets are still available at www.basilewestfieldplayhouse.org
As always, MSP is offering its opening night special: tickets for the Thursday, July 16 performance are just $10.
