Main Street Productions, Inc. Student Scholarship

Do you dream of taking acting classes, attending a theatre workshop, improving your singing, or growing your skills behind the scenes? Main Street Productions wants to help support the next generation of performers & artists through our annual Student Scholarship program!
Each year, MSP awards scholarships of up to $500 to young artists who have participated in an MSP show. Scholarship funds can be used for performing arts opportunities such as classes, private lessons, camps, workshops, or other training experiences.
Scholarship funds must be used within two years of receiving the award and will be sent directly to the instructor, program, or organization providing the performing arts opportunity.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:

Be 18 years old or younger

Have participated in a production with Main Street Productions

Use the scholarship exclusively for performing arts education or training
What to Submit?
Please include:

Completed application form and waiver
-
A letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or director

A letter of recommendation from an MSP member or Board Member

A short essay explaining what the performing arts means to you and how you would use the scholarship
-
A resume of your performing arts experience, including classes, workshops, lessons, and onstage or backstage involvement
